All solid waste collected from Appanoose County, Seymour and Promise City is taken to the RASWC Transfer Station. Specific items such as appliances, tires, televisions and computer monitors that cannot go into the trash are also accepted for disposal here. After arrival to the Transfer Station the waste is loaded into trailers and transported to the South Central Iowa Solid Waste Agency landfill in Marion County.
